 Ana-Marija Đurić: A Web3 electronic bookstore application

Undergraduate student Ana-Marija Đurić defended her final paper with the title A Web3 electronic bookstore application

Abstract:

Web3 technologies represent a new revolutionary approach that transforms the way we access the internet and digital content. In this thesis, we explore the application of Web3 concepts in the context of an electronic bookstore, with a focus on decentralization and improved ways of using and purchasing literature.

The aim of this work is to showcase an example of how an electronic bookstore could operate in the future, with all the advantages that such a mode of operation offers. The manner in which this is presented is through a detailed analysis of the ecosystem in which the application extends with all its participants, as well as the implementation of the application and the examination of its capabilities.

The presented examples illustrate one way of implementing blockchain technologies in the educational system. Through the example of an electronic bookstore, this work highlights how Web3 technologies revolutionize the way digital content distribution is perceived. Although the benefits and challenges of these technologies require a deep analysis and caution in implementation, their potential to change the digital economy and internet culture is undeniable.
