Student Blockchain Club

Building a blockchain community was one of the main goals in foundation of Blockchain Laboratory. That community can’t live and expand without students.

On the November 11th, 2022 Student Blockchain Club (SBC) was founded in cooperation between Department of e-business and Student organization FONIS from FOS. 

Co-president of the SBC is Milica Simić, teaching associate at the Department of e-business and Algorand Campus Champio at the Blockchain Laboratory. 

 

The club aims to:

  • Creating conditions for students to acquire practical knowledge in the field of blockchain and related fields and technologies
  • Creation of conditions for the implementation of scientific research and creative work of students
  • Student participation in blockchain competitions
  • Participation of students in seminars, forums and similar gatherings of students and other youth organizations in the country and abroad, in the area of blockchain
  • Creation of conditions for professional development of students and promotion of their knowledge

In order to achieve its goals, the Club in particular:

  • Collects and processes scientific and professional literature in the field of blockchain,
  • Organizes, independently or in cooperation with other organizations, professional meetings, consultations, seminars and other forms of education in the field of blockchain,
  • Cooperates with universities, schools, professional associations and other organizations in the country and abroad that deal with informatics, especially blockchain technologies,
  • Contacts with companies, private employers and institutions in order to introduce and improve business with new ideas and solutions in the field of blockchain.
