 We present you the winners of the FON Hakaton – Blockchain Challenge!

The winners of the FON Hakaton – Blockchain Challenge 2024 held on March 30th were announced during the award ceremony. Students who placed first, second, and third in the Blockchain Challenge were awarded for their exceptional projects. These projects showcased creative, innovative and practical uses of blockchain technology.

Winners

1st place – team MedChain (Jovana Trajković, Marko Bojanić, Aleksandar Matović, Ana Kovačević) – mentors: Danica Sovtić, Professor Aleksandra Labus, Professor Branka Rodić

By adopting a blockchain-based Personal Health Records system, team MedChain was able to unify patient data in one accessible spot, increase treatment accuracy, and enhance security and interoperability, all while giving patients control over their data sharing.

2nd place – team SolidVote (Milan Kaurin, Filip Joksimović, Luka Valković) – mentor: Milica Simić

Team SolidVote presented the idea of Blockchain-based ecosystem for voting where each vote contributes to the final decision in proportion to the shareholder’s ownership, reflecting both their stake in the company and the importance of their voice in its governance.

3rd place – team Spark (Aleksandra Kalimančević, Andreja Krstić, Mihajlo Marinković) – mentor: Milica Simić

The main goal of implementing a blockchain- based ecosystem for managing competencies in educational sector is to ensure simplified, efficient, secure, and transparent processes related to this field.

Special prize winners

In addition to the top three winners, there were two special awards presented: the Audience vote award and the Award for the best creative and visual implementation. The Department for e-business, FON presented and rewarded the Audience vote award, while the Zamurović brothers, one of the jury members, presented the Award for the best creative and visual implementation.

NFT Fashion platform is uniting fashion enthusiasts, designers, and NFT enthusiasts, exclusively offering fashion items as NFTs.

The Audience vote award – team Achievables – mentors: Professor Marijana Despotović-Zrakić & Milica Simić

This team presented a platform that uses blockchain technology to turn students academic and extracurricular achievements into a powerful portfolio.
