The Department of E-business

The Department of Electronic Business was founded on December 4, 2013 at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences. The vision of the Department of Electronic Business, Faculty of Organizational Sciences is leadership in educational and scientific work in the fields of electronic and mobile business, Internet technologies and computer simulations, as well as recognition among students, researchers and companies. By attracting talented students, professional development of teachers and associates, and improving cooperation with the economy, the Department of Electronic Business aims to be widely recognized as a leader even outside Serbia.

Innovation in educational and scientific-research work is one of the basic determinants in the work of teachers and associates of the Department of Electronic Business, so terms such as “the first Internet connection in Serbia”, “the first studies in electronic business in Serbia”, “the first university cloud in Serbia”, “the first monograph in Serbia in the field of cloud computing”, “the first textbook and practicum in the field of IoT” are associated with the Department. Members of the Department of Electronic Business published a large number of scientific research papers and participated in several projects in cooperation with the economy. Based on research on development and research capacities in the field of information and communication technologies in the Republic of Serbia, funded by the European Commission, the Department of Electronic Business was recognized as a center of excellence and shares second place with the Institute of Physics.
