FON Hakaton – Web4 Challenge 2026 provides students with an opportunity to showcase their skills, creativity, and vision in the rapidly evolving landscape of Web4 and deep technologies. Participants are invited to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that combine emerging technologies such as blockchain, AI, IoT, digital twins, smart systems, and decentralized infrastructures, while proposing new e-business ecosystems and models.
Through hands-on project development, participants will gain valuable practical experience in designing and implementing real-world prototypes, digital products, and technology-driven business concepts. Depending on the chosen challenge, teams may work with smart contracts, intelligent automation, connected devices, data-driven platforms, or other advanced technologies and frameworks
FON Hakaton – Web4 Challenge 2026 aims to empower students to explore cutting-edge trends in deep-tech and gain valuable hands-on experience through project-based learning.
The FON Hakaton – Web4 Challenge 2026 will be organized by Blockchain Laboratory Student Blockchain Club & Student organization FONIS, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, within the EIT HEI project TROPHY

The mentorship program for the FON Hakaton – Web4 Challenge 2026 will start on March 23rd, when the teams will get instructions for their projects. All teams will work with their mentors at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and/or online during 2 week period.
The final presentation of the projects will be held on April 4th at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences. There will be an option for online project presentations if the teams are not able to attend the competition live.
Participants of the hackathon are free to use any technology that suits them best, not limited to those that will be covered in the Bootcamp.
FON Hakaton – Web4 Challenge 2026 is open for students of all study levels (undergraduate, graduate, specialist, and PhD studies) and high school students, all around the world.
