Web3 Hackathon SNEAK PEEK!

The Web3 Hackathon 2025, held from May 21st to 30th at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FON) , University of Belgrade, gathered students from various faculties and backgrounds to explore the potential of blockchain technologies through innovation, collaboration, and responsible design.
This year’s theme, “Sustainable Web3 Innovations,” encouraged participants to develop decentralized applications that align with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, promoting responsible innovation and green digital transformation. The hackathon kicked off with ideation workshops and design thinking sessions, followed by nine days of mentoring and project development, culminating in the final pitch presentations held live on May 30th.
Web3 Hackathon 2025 was organized as part of the Web3 Innovation Hub, a project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, which aims to foster education, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the field of decentralized technologies. This year’s ESG-focused theme was directly inspired by the project’s goals to support sustainable and socially responsible Web3 development.
The event was organized in collaboration with long-term innovation partner Cirkuliranje, while the prize pool was generously supported by ETH Belgrade and BuidlGuidl, who also contributed to mentoring and community engagement.
Final day of presentations started with a warm welcome and official opening session, hosted by Tamara Naumović, with speeches from partner representatives:
- Dušan Barać, Ph.D., Full Professor and the Vice-dean for Corporate Affairs and Innovations at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade
- Vladislav Petković, Cirkuliranje

- Doc. Uroš Šošević, Faculty of Organizational Sciences
- Aljoša Makević, Attic42 and ETH Belgrade
