The workshop will cover the basic concepts and principles used when developing applications on the Solana blockchain platform. Concepts such as accounts, transactions, programs and instructions will be explained to the participants. Through practical examples, participants will be able to develop basic smart contracts (programs) on Solana, as well as accompanying client applications. The programming languages Typescript and Rust will be mostly used in the work, as well as the software framework for the development of the Solana program – Anchor. For optimal participation in the workshop, it is desirable to know how network applications work, the HTTP protocol and the basics of blockchain technology.
Uroš Šošević was born in 1987, he graduated from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences where he also defended his PhD dissertation titled „A software framework for the development of multimodal biometric systems“ in September 2022. Uroš is a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and Co-founder and CTO of Unique Venture Clubs – a platform for web3 investors, communities and founders. He was also a Co-founder and Blockchain architect at Blinking – a software development company with a focus and expertise in building and developing digital identity, identity verification, and user data protection.
