HandsOn 2023 – Your First Smart Contract: Introduction to Blockchain using PyTeal & Beaker
We invite you to the second workshop in the HandsOn series! This week, we will cover the topic “Your First Smart Contract: Introduction to Blockchain using PyTeal & Beaker”. If you’ve always been interested in blockchain but didn’t know where to start, this workshop can be a good initial step to gain basic knowledge that enables further independent progress.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, November 15th 2023, in room 212, with two sessions: at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
The session will encompass the fundamentals of the PyTeal programming language used for defining smart contracts on the Algorand network, as well as Beaker, a development environment facilitating communication with such networks, easing testing and implementation of PyTeal smart contracts. Through hands-on exercises, you will be able to create and test smart contracts, enhance your understanding of the Algorand ecosystem, and gain valuable experience in blockchain development.
